Triathlon Competition
The competition requires a team of 3 (one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner). The swimmer will be asked to swim in the endless pool and will be given 5 minutes to swim for as long as they can into an ever increasing current. During this time the cyclist and runner will travel as far as they can and this distance will be recorded. If the swimmer has to stop swimming before the end of the 5 minutes (because the current is too strong) the distance the cyclist and runner have covered up to that point is recorded as the final distance. Depending on the number of teams we have sign up you may be able to swap roles and enter under a different team name, although priority will be given to new teams.
Each team will be given 30 minutes to warm up, complete their challenge and cool down. If you have a team ready and would like to sign up please e-mail Davidhooper@triathlonengland.org with a particular day and time slot. If that time slot is not available then he will fit you into the closest one. If you do not have a team and would like to take part why not use the forum to find some competition companions?!
