The hunt is on for women in Hereford who would like to kick start their 2017 with a New Year fitness programme with a difference.
British Triathlon has teamed up with Lucton School and local coach Mark Warren to offer special women only training sessions in swimming, cycling and running and there are just 10 places left for the first session this Saturday.
The three half day training sessions run from 12.30pm to 3pm. The other sessions will take place on 18th February and the 4th March from 12.30pm to 3pm.
Helen Barklam, from British Triathlon, said: “These sessions have been so popular among women all over the region and we are really excited to be able to offer them at Lucton School for women in the Herford, Leominster and Ludlow areas.
“Mixing different activities like swimming, running and cycling is a great way to get in shape and we would love to see these sessions full with some ladies who would like to try something a bit different.
“There is mini GO-TRI triathlon on April 9th for those who would like to put what they have learned to the test. But, others may just want to use it as a kick start to the new year,” she added.
It costs just £8 for all three sessions as part of British Triathlon’s GO-TRI programme, helping to increase the number of people taking part in swimming, cycling and running.
