All Triathlon England Members in the West Midlands are invited to the Regional Committee's AGM this Month.
The AGM provides the opportunity for Triathlon England Members to shape the sport in their region, helping to take triathlon forward as a sport. The West Midland's AGM will take place on Sunday 22nd October from 5:15pm to 6:15pm, followed by the regional awards ceremony. The Venue is Tipton Academy Sports and Social Function Room, DY4 OBS.
The awards ceremony will start at 6:30pm with a buffet and presentations beginning at 7pm. Tickets for the awards can be obtained here. You don't need to purchase a ticket if you are only attending the AGM.
An important part of the AGM is the nomination and election of committee members for the following year. Whilst some members of the committee will offer to continue their role, we are interested to hear from members who wish to consider a role on the committee. We are particularly keen to hear from anybody who is interested in the Junior Series Coordinator role or who would be willing to support a person in that role. We currently do not have anyone to fill this position and anticipate that it may not be possible to run a Junior Series in 2018 if the role remains vacant.

We understand that Triathlon England may request that all Regional Committees update their constitutions at their 2017 AGMs to reflect current best practice. Currently we do not have details, but will add them to the West Midlands page of the Triathlon England website when we have them.
