Don't miss out on some fantastic events this April

There are many events within the West Midlands in April that you dont want to miss. We have a mixture of events from Family GO TRI's , Duathlons, Super Sprint Triathlons and Aquathlons, what a fantstaic mix to start your season. 

As follows here is our line up of events:

GO TRI Family Easter Aquathlon - 1st April 

Join in Friary Grange Leisure Centres fun family Easter themed aquathlon on Easter Sunday. Swim 50m in an indoor heated pool then run 600m together outside round the field with a couple of added twists. You will swim in a family relay before running together.

GO TRI Triathlon Cannock - 8th April 

Come and try a GO TRI event for complete novices to give the sport of triathlon a go. 250m (10 lengths) swim; 10.65 km (6.5 miles) bike on local roads; 1.6km (1 mile) run around the local park adjacent to the leisure centre, on grass and paths. Start time is 4pm, Registration opens at 2.15pm.

Halesowen Triathlon - 8th April 

Supersprint distance, 400m pool swim, 25km undulating bike, 5km run. Prizes awared to the first three open male and female, and first male and female in over 40, over 50 and over 60 categories.

Hereford Duathlon - 8th April 

A club-run duathlon ideal for newcomers, as a training race or for those of you who like a super fast course. We keep our prices as low as possible but we guarantee that you'll enjoy a first-class race experience. 

The flat run course takes you through the city streets and out into the local villages. The bike course is undulating and takes in some of Herefordshire's most beautiful countryside.

A shorter distance race also takes place on the same day, starting at the same time.

Black Country Triathletes April 2018 Sprint Triathlon - 22nd April 

Pool based swim triathlon. The distances are 400m swim, 20k bike and a 5k run.

GO TRI Redditch Super Sprint Triathlon - 22nd April 

This event is ideal for beginners / first timers wishing to experience multi sport events or for participants who wish to try a multi-sport event.This is one of our many GO TRI event and our Super Sprint Triathlons. This event will be a 400m (16 lengths) pool swim followed by an 11km bike ride out of the Abbey Stadium (partly on the local bus lanes), followed by a 2.5km multi-terrain run on tarmac and running track.

Storm The Castle Duathlon - 22nd April

A challenging 33km with enough undulation to rival the hardest bike courses in the UK. This course includes approximately 500m of elevation and takes you on a route from Shropshire, into Herefordshire and back into Shropshire to finish back at transition.

BRAT Lichfield Sprint Triathlon - 29th April 

Pool sprint triathlon. Distances are 400m swim, 20k bike and 5k run

 Solihull Spring Aquathlon - 29th April 

The swim is pool based in Tudor Grange Leisure Centre with the traffic free run based around the Tudor Grange Park area. This year the event is running in the afternoon and will feature split presentation for Junior and Adults athletes resulting in less time waiting around for athletes and their supporters.

Stratford Triathlon - 29th April 

The Stratford Triathlon is a fun but challenging event based at Stratford Leisure and Visitor Centre in the picturesque and historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

Now in it's 21st year the event has seen thousands of competitors take on the challenge of swim, bike and run with a fun & friendly atmosphere and great support from the cheering crowds.
