2nd September 2012 will see the 20th running of the Black Country Triathletes Sprint Triathlon.

Back in 1992 when triathlon was still in its infancy in the UK, Black Country Triathletes hosted their first ever Sprint triathlon and on the 2nd Spetember, this year the race will celebrate it's 20th year.   Back in 1992 the race was known as the JAG Sprint Triathlon.  Black Country Triathletes are keen for anyone who raced in the original event and are still involved in the sport to come back and race the event one more time.   Black Country Triathletes have posted the original results on the club website  ( www.blackcountrytriathletes.co.uk ) for you to check out some of the orignial racers.  You are sure to recognise some of the names as they are still racing today.  Anyone competing in 1992 and 2012 will receive a special commemorative race T-Shirt.
