British Triathlon is calling on women across the Midlands to swim, bike and/or run as part of its celebrations for Women’s Sport Week.
The week of celebration runs from 19 to 25 June with activities taking place across the country to encourage women to have a go at triathlon.
Helen Barklam, Regional Manager for British Triathlon in the West Midlands, said: “During this week of celebration, we will be calling on as many women as possible to take part in one or more of the triathlon disciplines – whether they have tried them before or not. Everyone who commits to some activity will be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize. Watch this space!”
