Special training for 11 to 16 year-olds
The hunt is on for budding young triathletes in the West Midlands who want to take their swimming, cycling and running skills to the next level.
British Triathlon is looking for youngsters aged from 11 to 16 to join its triathlon Skills School - three fun-packed half day sessions in Bewdley, Bromsgrove and Brierley Hill in February and March.
Alex Sobolewski, from British Triathlon, said: “This is a fantastic way for young budding triathletes to have some great fun taking part in real masterclasses in swimming, cycling and running.
“These sessions aim to teach the youngsters new skills, allow them to have some great fun, meet fellow young athletes and learn how they can be the best they can be,” he added.
The events are:
Sunday 12th February 2017 – Off road cycling skills from 12pm to 4pm at Wyre Forest Discovery Centre, Bewdley.
Sunday 12th March 2017 – Swimming conditioning from 10.30am to 2.30pm at The Dolphin Centre, Bromsgrove.
Sunday 19th March 2017 – Running skills from 12pm to 4pm The Dell Stadium, Brierley Hill.
