British Triathlon can today announce that Solihull Triathlon Club has achieved its brand new TriMark accreditation.

Solihull has been awarded TriMark Club Bronze as a recognition for its commitment to good club management, duty of care and welfare and the scope of its programme of activity available to members.

Club secretary Ben Taylor, said: “As a club, we want to be the best we can be, so we are extremely proud to have achieved this award. We have some fantastic members, coaches, volunteers and officials, and this TriMark recognition is testament to their hard work to make this club what it is today. Thanks to everyone for all of the work you put in throughout the year. We have a great club because of you.”

Jon Train, who runs the scheme for British Triathlon, said: “Accreditation has long been associated to large lever arch files and lots of paperwork. This new system has taken us online and completely simplifies the whole process. Solihull will now move on to our TriMark Club Silver award, which is in conjunction with Sport England and the Clubmark accreditation.”

A TriMark club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for members of all ages and abilities. It also helps parents and carers identify the right club for their young people.
