The Regional Committee are looking to appoint a new Coaching Coordinator.
Role
To be the key link between Coach Education and Regional Coaches to ensure CPD/Mentoring to improve the quality of all coaches in the region

- Club Coaches

Main Duties
- To assist the Regional committee in the Strategic Alignment of coaching practice and Triathlon England policies
- To take primary responsibility for reporting to the Regional Committee on the progress of the Regional Coaches
- To liaise with the Club Head Coaches to ensure the development of Club Coaches
- To ensure sufficient CPD for Club Coaches
- To instigate a programme of coach exchange for coach development
- To work with Academy/Development Squad Head Coaches to ensure opportunities for Club Coaches to attend Junior Sessions
- To work with Coach Mentors to promote Coach Mentor Programme
- To work with Club Coaches to promote CPD to become Coach Mentors
- To liaise with other Governing Bodies to establish best practice
Required Skills / Quantities
- Verbal and written communication
- Coaching experience
- Knowledge of regional clubs, skills school and academy
- Good organisational skills
- Approachable
Commitment
12 contact points per year - 4 face to face meetings a year including the AGM, 4 committee skype meetings per year, and general catch up and phone calls etc.
