Northallerton Amateur Swimming Club are the latest club to achieve TriMark Bronze. Great Work!

Northallerton Amateur Swimming Club (NASC) has more than 120 members and has celebrated its 50th anniversary. This family orientated club, Northallerton ASC, is based in Northallerton, the heart of North Yorkshire and trains at Hambleton Leisure Centre. Its members enjoy both the competitive swimming and learn to swim services offered, alongside a social driven philosophy, encouraging participation and enjoyment in the sport of swimming.  In 2019 the club expanded their offer and developed a triathlon section and successfully organised a number of Aquathlon Events to help encourage both members of the club and the local community to try multisport.

Greg Lent - Head Coach said, "It has been a great experience working with British Triathlon. As a club we have already experienced the high-quality training courses on offer, the new affiliation process for a robust club governance and safeguarding alongside hosting our first successful Aquathlon series in 2019. We are pleased to be in a position where a developing swimming club with a triathlon branch which can offer so much more to the local community. As a club we now have the Bronze Trimark, SwimMark and ClubMark to our name. 2020 will see the club grow yet again with a new Aqauthlon planned with entries open on the British Triathlon website.
