TE Technical Officials Conference

Published:

16th February 2013 - funding available.

Triathlon England Official's conference (see below) - the Y & H R Committee will pay expenses to all the attendees from our region; however, again so that the money we have goes as far as we are able, could I ask that you talk to each other and arrange to car share wherever possible?

Y & H R TO's, for 2013 we will be providing a white Triathlon England shirt embroidered with our regions emblem and "Technical Official" on the chest to all our active officials. We had considered a pale blue polo shirt but TBH, it clashed with the red gillet (we won't go there thank you very much); so I'll be updating the online spreadsheet with a column showing size that I'd like you to fill in please?

Later in the year, probably April/May we will be having a second workshop/seminar in York, where we will be building on the work of the conference in February. Richard Wasling has kindly agreed to organise that and he will be looking for feedback from any and all of you so that we can tailor the program to suit your needs.

Triathlon England Official’s Conference will be held on 16 February 2013 at the Village Hotel Solihull, The Green Business Park, Solihull, West Midlands, B90 4GW from 9.30am until 4.30pm and will be free of charge to all Triathlon England Officials.
The conference will help you to develop yourself as an official and network with other officials learning from their experiences to help you to improve your officiating
As part of the conference we will be running an overview of the Local, Regional and National Technical Official courses. As they are an overview you will be able to attend the level you are currently operating at as a refresher or the level higher as a preview of that course. Please note that if you attend the overview for a higher level than you are currently operating at you will not be eligible to officiate at that level until you have completed the course in full.

Also, during the day there will be the opportunity to collect any additional items of kit you may need such as polo shirts, rain jackets or caps.
