As you know the AGM of East Midlands region will be taking place this Sunday, 29/10/2017 at the Triathlon England headquarters in Loughborough. A free lunch is being laid on from 12.15, with the AGM due to start at 1 PM.
Following the AGM there will be the presentation, by Tom Bishop of the workforce awards and the presentation of the 2017 Children Series Individual Age Group Winners and Interclub Championship Winners.

Just a quick reminder that prior to the AGM we are holding a series of workshops that will be starting at 10:30 AM and will run to 12 noon, these workshops are free to attend and will encompass the following:
- Safeguarding – ensuring your club has the right policies in place.
- Skills School – An update for all parents and coaches on the 2017-18 programme and an introduction to the BTF Athlete Development Framework
- Bike fit – a practical guide to getting a bike fit.
- GO TRI – a workshop on how to run your own event and increase your club’s membership
- Technical Officials – A refresher workshop on the key issues facing TO’s and outlook for 2018

With regards to the AGM we will be holding elections for members to serve on the regional committee as well as the election of the chairman of the regional committee for the ensuing 12 months. Please see the website for a full list of those being proposed to the committee for 2017/18.
We are always on the lookout for fresh talent to join us on the regional committee and any member of British Triathlon, who is resident within the East Midlands area is eligible to stand for membership.
