Saturday 2nd June saw eight local male and females new to multi sport take part in an Introduction to Triathlon at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford.
This session, delivered by local Level 2 coach Cat Wynne saw participants undertake a swim, bike and run training session as well as a chat around their past experience and their goals going forward.
Sarah Williams East Midlands Regional Manager said 'It was great to see participants that were all new to multi sport, all with strengths in different disciplines but wanting to work towards a new goal and challenge themselves'
As part of the activation work centered around Nottingham City and Rushcliffe for the Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham on 7th June; the Introduction to Tri formed part of the extensive programme that is on offer over the next couple of months for anyone wanting to get into triathlon from single discipline sessions to open water aquathlons.
