Another busy season for the Great Britain Age-Group Team gets underway this weekend in the snow in Andorra.

Seven members of the GB Age-Group Team will run, bike and ski at the Europe Triathlon Winter Championships on Sunday (29 January), the first international age group event of the year.

Athletes will start with a 5.6km run, before a 12.8km bike and then a 9.3km ski, although 70+ age group athletes will cover a shorter distance.

The team heading off to Andorra includes Joanne Wilson, previously known as Pitten, who had a successful 2022 in the snow, winning world titles in her age group in both winter triathlon and winter duathlon.

Also representing the GB Age-Group Team will be Christopher Gouldsmith, Richard Wakeford, Keith Jenns, Frances Hooper, James Mackie and Nicholas Farnell.

Every year, the Age-Group Team provides British Triathlon members with the opportunity to represent Great Britain internationally at World and European Championships in a variety of swim, bike, run disciplines and distances.

For multisports without a qualifier, qualification is via submitting a race result which meets the criteria and more information can be found here
