Six Great Britain Age-Group Team members have been named as British Triathlon Age-Group Ambassadors, who will be supported by Yellow Jersey throughout 2023 as the insurance provider expands their commitment to the GB Age-Group Team.
Yiannis Christodoulou, Helen Godfrey, Kate Hutchinson, Megan Powell, Tom Radley and David Vogwell have been selected by Yellow Jersey and British Triathlon to be ambassadors at the end of a highly competitive selection process.
The six athletes – who were selected by a panel out of over 350 applicants – will receive an exclusive package from Yellow Jersey and British Triathlon as well as other partners of the national governing body as they progress and share their journey within the sport.
The exclusive package includes a year’s free bicycle insurance and other items from Yellow Jersey, an annual Ultimate British Triathlon Home Nation Membership, free entry into 2023 World Triathlon Championship Series Sunderland, a GB Age-Group trisuit with Yellow Jersey sponsored logo, as well as equipment from other British Triathlon partners including HUUB, On Running, OTE and Wahoo.
The athletes began their year of support by attending a training day at British Triathlon’s Loughborough Performance Centre, where they took part in workshops including with World Class Programme athletes Ben Dijkstra and Olivia Mathias, and a coached run session with British Triathlon performance coach, Rick Velati.
All six have qualified to represent the GB Age-Group Team at international events in 2023 and will each share their sporting experiences on their social media profiles throughout the year.

This new ambassador programme is part of the extension of Yellow Jersey’s partnership with British Triathlon which was announced in November 2022 and will see the insurance provider become the national governing body’s Official Cycle and Travel Insurance Partner until 2028.
All British Triathlon Home Nation members can enjoy a range of discounts through Yellow Jersey including up to £75 off annual bicycle insurance policies and up to 25% off all other policies, with GB Age-Group Team members receiving the highest offers available.
