Support the sport as an event volunteer to assist the delivery of the Under 20’s Festival at Mallory Park, Leicestershire on Monday 28 August.
British Triathlon’s major events team are looking for volunteers to assist the event day delivery of their Under 20’s Festival at Mallory Park, Leicestershire. There are a number of different roles throughout the event each with the aim of ensuring that competitors have a safe and enjoyable race. Roles include start area marshalling, course marshalling, transition marshalling, finish line and registration. You will have a team leader assigned to your role; they will give you a full briefing of your role on race morning and be your first point of contact throughout the day.
The Under 20s Festival is host to the final round of our Youth and Junior Super Series as well as the Inter Regional Championships for Tri Star 2s and Tri Star 3s. In the past, future stars of British Triathlon have competed at the Under 20s Festival including Jonathan Brownlee, Gordon Benson and Lucy Hall so there's potential to see the next star of British Triathlon, and who knows, maybe even a future world champion!
