Viborg ETU Powerman Middle Distance Duathlon European Championships
Alice Hector stepped onto the podium in Demark as a elite bronze medal winner over the 10km run, 60km bike, 10km run format at the Middle Distance Duathlon European Championships this weekend. Ben Price improved on his 2018 result to finish 4th with compatriots Georgina Schweining and Peter Ellis 7th and 11th in their respective races.
There was also 12 medals for the Great Britain Age-Group team, including four golds!

Sines ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup
Gordon Benson showed strength on the run, recording the fastest split of the day, to pick up a bronze medal in his opening race of the season. Iestyn Harrett and James Teagle finished 8th and 11th respectively.
Sospan Sprint Triathlon Llanelli
The Camarthenshire town of Llanelli this weekend hosted the second round of both the British Triathlon Senior Super Series and Youth and Junior Super Series. The junior races were paired with the senior race over the sprint distance format as Marcus Dey and Sophie Alden took the win. In the youth races Bethany Cook and Hamish Reilly topped the podium and will take full points from the round. Ironman 70.3 Pays d'Aix

It was a full British podium sweep in the womens race as Emma Pallant took the win ahead of Nikki Bartlett and India Lee, with Fenella Langridge having also been up towards the front of the race until a crash on a bike decent.
Adam Bowden also continued his strong start to the season with another fast run taking him to second behind German Andi Boecherer.
Ironman 70.3 Vietnam
Holly Lawrence sealed back to back weekend victories with gold in Vietnam (having taken the tape in Utah the weekend prior) finishing over four minutes clear of Australian Sarah Crowley.
Tim Don came 6th overall in the mens race as Patrick Lange (DEU), the two time Ironman world champion took the win.
