With the Academy trials fast approaching it is worth highlighting some changes to the Academy for 2019-2020.

The Academy will now start at 9am on the Saturday morning - this will hopefully alleviate some of the Friday night travel & accommodation costs. When the athletes come in at 9am they will go straight to breakfast. Saturday will finish around 4pm. Sunday will still start at 7am. 

Depending upon numbers & trials performances it is proposed that there will be a Development Squad, as well as an Academy Squad. It is anticipated that there will be 16 Academy athletes & up to 8 athletes in the Development Squad. 

The Development Squad will support the athletes as they hone their skills & strengths with a view of moving into the Academy. It will support athletes aged 13- 19 years, in line with the Academy.
