Daman World Triathlon Abu Dhabi

Britain’s Alex Yee takes silver in his ITU World Triathlon Series debut, with Jess Learmonth stopping a USA medal clean-sweep in the women’s race by picking up bronze in Abu Dhabi. 24 hours later Great Britain’s quartet finished 7th in the first ITU World Triathlon Mixed Relay Series race of 2019. Sarasota-Bradenton CAMTRI Sprint Triathlon American Cup

At the Sarasota CAMTRI Cup in Florida, Morgan Davies went one better than his 6th place finish in Clermont the week before by finishing 5th after another strong early season swim, bike, run performance.

Bedford Autodrome Sprint and Standard Duathlons

Designed from scratch by former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer, there is nowhere else in the world like Bedford Autodrome. The venue has been purpose built for speed and space, containing four entirely distinct circuits and over 5 miles of track laid out across a 384 acre site, and this weekend was the location of two qualifiers for the Great Britain Age-Group team, with participants who had prior registered their intent to qualify going for a spot at either the 2020 ETU Standard Distance Duathlon European Championships or the 2020 ETU Sprint Distance Duathlon European Championships. James Ellison and Anita Howe took the tape in the standard distance, whilst Jonathan Morris and Samantha Fawcett took top spot on the podium in the sprint distance.
