Sunday saw the last Adult series championship event take place at Boundary Breeze, an event run by Manchester Tri Club.

Staffordshire 70.3 Ironman – Sunday 14th June 2015 Following the successful completion of a handful of sprint distance triathlons, the decision was made to push the boundaries further by registering for the Staffordshire 70.3 Ironman. Online entry opened, the form was completed and submitted, this was followed shortly afterwards by an e-mail from Ironman stating “Congratulations! You are now registered for the IRONMAN 70.3 STAFFORDSHIRE 2015 - Pre-Registered Athletes - Individual”, the penny then dropped – it took a few minutes to register the magnitude of what I’d committed too.

Founded in 1998, Sabah Adventure Challenge is South East Asia’s oldest and most established adventure race. The event features both a 3 day 120km adventure race and a separate 3 day 100km ultra run through Borneo’s Crocker Mountain range. The competitors race their way through the rainforests of Northern Borneo, crossing chest high rivers, and orienteering through local villages and through mountainous terrain to navigate to predetermined checkpoints. The Race location is kept secret until the day before the event to prevent anyone obtaining an unfair advantage.
