The ITU World Championships may be over, but that doesn’t mean that the season has finished yet. Super League Triathlon is making the headlines in Jersey, with a star line up featuring eight British athletes. Portugal hosts the 2017 Funchal ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup and Huelva in Spain sees the ITU Triathlon World Cup on Sunday.

Super League Triathlon Jersey

The island of Jersey has been taken over for the second Super League Triathlon, seeing the sport performed in new and innovative ways to attract a brand-new audience and provide a completely new challenge for competitors. Women will take part as well as men for the first time over the two-day event, with athletes collating points throughout a series of ‘rounds’ before the podium is decided and the winner takes significant prize money.

2017 Funchal ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup

Funchal, Portugal hosts the latest ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup on Saturday. A thirteen-strong British contingent prepares to dive in to the Atlantic, including Great Britain 10,000m track star, Beth Potter. The course offers a scenic but challenging route which will test athlete’s abilities. This is one of the final races in the ETU calendar before the 2017 season wraps up in October.

2017 Huelva ITU World Triathlon World Cup

A strong group of British athletes, including Rio 2016 Olympian, Gordon Benson will compete for podium positions in Spain at the Huelva ITU World Triathlon World Cup on Sunday. This is the first time Huelva is hosting this event, held over standard distance, and athletes will hope to end their seasons on a high in Southern Spain.
