Super League complete the elite triathlon line-up for Arena Games London

The full list of elite triathletes competing at the SLT Arena Games London Powered by Zwift on Saturday 27 March has been confirmed with just under two weeks to go until the event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

With the recent announcements that Tim Don and Lucy Charles-Barclay will be heading to London, it brings the total number of athletes competing to 20 – 10 women and 10 men.

Athletes will take on three rounds of triathlon action, with the order of swim, bike, run different on each one. Each 200m swim will take place in the Olympic-sized pool at the London Aquatics Centre, with static equipment for the 4km bike legs and 1km run legs putting the athletes in the virtual world of Zwift racing.

Don and Charles-Barclay have been added to the line up which already included Olympic hopefuls Jonathan Brownlee and Georgia Taylor-Brown, as well as the winner from the inaugural Arena Games in Rotterdam last year, Justus Nieschlag.

British athletes in the men’s line-up: Tim Don, Alex Yee, Jonathan Brownlee, Ben Dijkstra, George Goodwin, Reece Charles-Barclay.

British athletes in the women’s line-up: Lucy Charles-Barclay, Georgia Taylor-Brown, Sophie Coldwell, Kate Waugh, Ruth Astle, Beth Potter, Helen Jenkins.

With the event taking place behind closed doors, viewers will be able to watch the action from the pool and Zwift live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website from 3pm.
