British Paratriathletes Secure World Triathlon Para Series Swansea Medal Haul

British Para Triathletes were on fine form as they secured six medals at 2023 World Triathlon Para Series Swansea.

Mel Nicholls kick started the medal haul in the PTWC women’s race as she took home a bronze medal. In the men’s race Josh Landmann and Bret Crossley secured top ten finishes. Read more about their race here.

Dave Ellis, guided by Luke Pollard, would continue his fine form as he finished on the top step of the podium in the PTVI category with fellow Brit Oscar Kelly, who was guided by Charlie Harding coming home in second place. Read about their 1-2 finish here.

Claire Cashmore and Lauren Steadman were on the podium as they finished second and third respectively in the PTS5 category behind American Grace Norman. Read about their podium performance here.

The final British medal came thanks to Hannah Moore in the PTS4 women’s race as she won a silver medal. In the men’s race Finley Jakes and Michael Taylor both secured top 10 finishes. Read all about their races here.

Henry Urand marked his World Triathlon Para Series debut with an eighth placed finish in the PTS3 category. Read about Urand’s debut race here.

In the PTS2 race Louis Rolfe came home in tenth ahead of British teammate Brett Daughtrey, who was doing his second ever World Triathlon event, in 12th. Read about their race here.
