Georgia Jackson
Biography
Triathlon is, for the vast majority of us, a beautiful hobby that we take up to make our lives better, healthier, happier, and more enriched. This is at the heart of my coaching philosophy.
I have been involved in triathlon for 20+ years, alongside my career as a doctor (paediatrician). I left medicine in 2015 to spend more time with family and have been coaching triathlon since; club coaching, small group swim technique sessions, swim video analysis, open water coaching, and organising GO TRI Reading at Green Park. The transferrable knowledge and skills from medicine have been huge and invaluable. My personal racing experience ranges from sprint distance (my favourite), representing GB three times (triathlon & aquathlon), up to middle distance, marathon swims, SwimRun, and plenty between. I coach a small number of individual athletes in a highly bespoke way, and developing a strong mutually respectful relationship with my athletes is of paramount importance to me. So is having fun!
