Coaching

Lee Stockman

Biography

I started my triathlon journey in 2010 with Chester Tri. Two seasons of racing cemented my passion, leading me to obtain my BTF level 1coaching certification allowing me to assist with beginners swim technique and intermediate swim training. I was fortunate enough to train and race in Dubai for a few years, after which I returned to the UK, gained my BTF level 2 certification and embarked on a new career path in the Royal Navy. Since signing up, I have raced with and coached then Royal Navy/Royal Marine team. I am proud to have represented the RN across multiple distances from sprint through to Ironman 70.3, the highlight being representing the team at the IM 70.3 World Championships.
As a RN/RM team coach I have had the opportunity to coach from grassroots level up to advanced athletes.
In 2020 I achieved my BTF level 2 diploma.
My ethos is that training should both be fun and flexible to incorporate into everyday life.
