Paul Schroder
Biography
I started running in early 2011 using the Couch to 5k program after watching the London Marathon on TV.
In 2015 I did my first triathlon taking my training to another new level. I have since completed an Ironman distance triathlon in 2018.
In 2016 I decided to become a England Athletics Coach (followed by British Triathlon Coach) because I love seeing others share the same journey as me. I have never been hard on myself or taken myself too seriously, I mostly train to challenge myself, keep fit and have fun.
In my view positive mental strength is absolutely paramount and an area I looked to develop as soon as I became a coach.
My coaching is all about the psychology of sport, unlock the power of your mind to achieve your goals.
My coaching is focussed on ensuring good preparation, planning and consistency, which are key factors for reaching your goals. We must make sure you do not stress or worry, just relax, enjoy and most importantly have as much fun as possible along the way.
